On the palate, crisp on the attack, subtle, aromatic. Round and perfumed on the finish. Perfect for No-Cook Cooking!

Summer just keeps getting rosier with this delicious and affordable blushing pink Rose from Mas de la Dame. Translating to “farm of the lady,” the estate is owned by Anne Poniatowski and Caroline Missoffe who have teamed up consultant Jean-Luc Colombo to create this dry, light and charming Rose. Showing its Provencal provenance, it is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault from vineyards that have been organically farmed for over 30 years. It will be a natural hit with no-cook cooking that is the perfect answer to late July heatwaves. The nose is all about fresh raspberry, wild cherry and top notes of blood orange. On the palate it is lively and refreshing with flavors of watermelon, cherries and subtle hints of garrigue. We recommend chilling this well and serving it alongside Caprese salad, crudité, and prosciutto and cantaloupe.

The breathtaking 16th-century wine estate of Mas de la Dame is situated in Les Baux de Provence, a charming medieval village perched atop a rocky outcrop in southern France’s Apilles Mountains. The essence of this rugged area’s haunting, windswept beauty is captured most evocatively in the celebrated paintings of Van Gogh.
