Bright ruby-red. Aromas of crushed blackberry and boysenberry, licorice and violet, plus a hint of shoe polish. Suave and vinous on the palate, with its dark berry and bitter chocolate flavors accented by spices, dusty herbs and a touch of minerality. This harmonious wine finishes with smooth tannins and very good length. Plenty of subtle flavor interest here for the price.
