Some quite smoky oak heralds this full-bodied and fleshy wine, which ends with a slightly dry finish. Impressive, but a little bit showy. Still you gotta love it. Second wine of Giscours. Try in 2020.

The 2014 La Sirene de Giscours is quite open and silky on the palate, with plenty of aromatic lift from the inclusion of 10% Cabernet Franc in the blend. Rose petal, white pepper and savory herb notes add complexity in this bright, impeccably balanced second wine from Giscours.
