Faugeres-St-Emilion-2013

Faugeres, (St. Emilion), 2013

“The 2013 Faugeres is dominated by Merlot at 85% and the rest Cabernet Franc, with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. A well-made, attractive, open-knit wine with soft tannin and decent acidity, it has a vibrant black cherry and blackcurrant-scented nose with licorice and lead pencil shavings. The wine is medium-bodied with sweet tannins and should drink nicely for 7-10 years.”
