"Paul Hobbs makes four wines under the CrossBarn label: two Cabernet Sauvignons (one from Napa and one from Sonoma) as well as a Pinot Noir and a Chardonnay. "We plan to grow this label moderately," Hobbs says. "We now have an 80-acre vineyard dedicated to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for this project, in addition to 45 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon in the Alexander Valley." --Wine Advocate

The 2017 Pinot Noir has a pale to medium ruby-purple color and inviting scents of pomegranate liqueur, crushed cranberries and Bing cherries with nuances of orange peel, potpourri and autumn leaves. Light to medium-bodied, it offers loads of bright, spicy fruits, with a gently grainy frame and seamless freshness, finishing long and bright. 12,632 cases produced.
