NEW YORK, Dec. 13, 2017 – Sherry-Lehmann Wine & Spirits announced that it has set a goal of raising $1 million to help the California wildfire relief efforts. The nation’s premier wine and spirits retailer is committing $100,000 in cash, and will also be hosting dinners and auctions in New York and Los Angeles, with 100% of the proceeds going to aid the families, first responders and the communities directly affected by this tragedy.
“We are absolutely heartbroken to see the massive devastation these wildfires have caused in Napa, Sonoma and large parts of Northern California wine country” said Chris Adams, CEO of Sherry-Lehmann. "This is a real catastrophe. People have lost their lives, their homes and their businesses. We felt a responsibility to take action, to assist in providing the support and financial assistance so desperately needed.
