The medium ruby-hued 2016 Château La Chandelliere is a terrific Médoc offering a modern slant in its cassis and mulled fruits, subtle background oak, medium body, and fresh, elegant texture. Give it a year or two and enjoy over the following decade with a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot and aged in 33% new oak for 12 months.

The 2016 Chandelliere is a plump, absolutely delicious Cru Bourgeois to drink now and over the next few years. Plum, tobacco, cedar and menthol add character to this pleasing, everyday Bordeaux.
