Kilchoman Machir Bay (Islay)

From the Kilchoman Distillery in Islay, Machir Bay is a limited edition that is bottled once a year. The latest Machir Bay is a vatting of four and five year old whisky aged first in ex-bourbon casks then finished in Oloroso sherry butts. On the nose, lemon zest, orange marmalade and smoke. On the palate, vanilla, butterscotch, pepper and smoke with a long, spicy finish.
