This vibrant Sauvignon Blanc begins with enticing aromas of lemongrass, lychee, passionfruit, melon and pineapple, followed by hints of white nectarine and lime. Napa Sauvignon Blanc at its Best!

Founded by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in 1976, Duckhorn Vineyards has been crafting classic Napa Valley wines for nearly 40 years. When they purchased their original 10 acre property in St. Helena, Dan and Margaret settled in one of the most ideal locations to follow their passion for Bordeaux varietals. St. Helena is one of Napa’s warmer appellations which makes it well-suited to producing rich, structured red wines from Bordeaux varietals. In an area known for Cabernet Sauvignon, the Duckhorn’s claim to fame is helping pioneer Merlot as a premium varietal, achieving top accolades along the way.  They have been named one of the “Top 100 Wineries” in the world seven times by Wine & Spirits, and the 2014 Duckhorn Vineyards Napa Valley Merlot Three Palms Vineyard was named the “2017 Wine of the Year,” topping Wine Spectator’s annual list of the world’s “Top 100 Wines.” It was in 1982 that the Duckhorn’s turned their attention to Bordeaux’s premier white wine varietal, Sauvignon Blanc. Grown in estate vineyards in St. Helena’s warm climate, the expression of Sauvignon Blanc here leans toward tropical where aromas of lychee, lemongrass, pineapple and passion fruit take center stage. On the palate it has a succulent and fleshy texture, where flavors of nectarine, lime and pineapple are animated by lively acidity. For the home cook, this wine should be a kitchen staple - Sauvignon Blanc’s strong suit is how its vibrant acidity makes it a joy to pair with food. Brought to you by one of Napa’s iconic families, you can’t go wrong with this one!
