The 2018 Côtes Du Rhône Le Temps Est Venue is a charmer, yet has more structure than plenty of wines in the vintage. Ripe raspberries, strawberries, and floral notes all flow to a medium bodied, elegant, lively red that’s already hard to resist. Drink it over the coming 4-5 years.

A tank-aged blend of roughly 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah (although there are fractions of Mourvèdre and Cinsault), the 2018 Cotes du Rhone le Temps Est Venu is sourced from Plan de Dieu (two-thirds) and Visan (one-third). It's spicy and leathery up front, then opens to reveal notes of ripe cherries and garrigue. It's a solid effort, with silky tannins and a backbone of cranberryish acidity that lingers on the finish.

A core of fresh cherry preserve flavors is laced with red licorice and floral notes. A light singed vanilla hint shows on the finish. Drink now. 3,700 cases imported.
