Named for the vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon planted in Bossi some 42 years ago, Castello di Bossi “Corbaia” IGT 1997 is a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon that is fermented in stainless steel and aged in Allier oak barriques. This Super-Tuscan offers dark fruit, cassis, licorice and balsamic character with fine balance and outstanding length on the finish. A wine of superb finesse and elegance that will pair well with your favorite grilled meats.
“Intense aromas of blackberries and black licorice, with hints of toasted oak. Medium-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a finely polished texture. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.” -Wine Spectator
