1993 Sherry-Lehmann Founder's Reserve, Armagnac

The Sherry-Lehmann Founder’s Reserve is Armagnac that is especially reserved for Sherry-Lehmann by the famous Laubade producer. Laubade is renowned for producing some of the finest Armagnacs. Distilled from Baco, Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche wines, the spirit is then aged in Gascony oak until bottling.

PLO Leader Yasser Arafat and Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin shook hands in Washington, D.C., after signing a peace accord, and Andrew Wiles presented his proof of Fermat’s Last Theorem (a problem that had been unsolved for more than three centuries) in the same year this Armagnac was born.
