Cuvee Daniel==, (Graves), 2001
During a wine buying and tasting trip across France, Daniel Boulud & Daniel Johnnes discovered the gem that has since become Cuvée Daniel, a Graves made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes.
This medium-bodied, elegant wine has distinctive notes of dark ripe berries and hints of mocha, smoke and vanilla. It is a harmonious and beautifully balanced claret that promises to enhance any dining experience.
This fine red Bordeaux represents the collaborative efforts of two notable winemakers, Bernard Pujol, formerly of Château Pape Clément, and Hubert de Bouard, co-owner of Château Angelus.
This was personally selected by Daniel Boulud & Daniel Johnnes to be served at the restaurant Daniel in Manhattan. Daniel has been kind enough to send Sherry-Lehmann a small allocation to share with our clientele. First come, first served!
