A Remarkable Syrah from Napa

This “hot” new wine comes from California’s oldest volcano.

Legendary wine begins in the vineyard. Red lava soil, steep hillsides, southern exposure and sustainable farming all come together to create this unique expression of Syrah.

About Red Lava Vineyards

The label captures the qualities and characteristics of three elements of the vineyard and the bold presence of Mt. Konocti, California's oldest volcano. The vineyard is named as tribute to the brilliant red lava flows of the now dormant Mt. Konocti volcano. These lava flows cooled for thousands of years to create the red soil depicted on the bottle. The shiny black background depicts the glasslike black obsidian stones, formed when the lava cooled, and mixed in the soil. Finally, the white accent signifies the presence of rare gems that sparkle on the slopes known as Konocti Diamonds, products of Mt. Konocti’s volcanic eruptions and found no where else in the world.
