Winemaker Philippe Delarches style is determined completely by terroir. All of his wines are mineral-rich and complex. This plot of Corton-Charlegmagne produces mineral driven and steely Chardonnay with a bit of pepper and chalky notes in the finish.

The Chave Family has owned and farmed vineyards in Hermitage of the Northern Rhone since 1481 and has a reputation of being one of the best producers of Hermitage. The Cote du Rhone ‘Mon Coeur’ is a blend of Syrah and Grenache and shows notes of spice and black pepper along with fresh dark fruits.

Deep fruited nose. Nice aromas of blue and black fruits that include ample amounts of stone and earth nuances. This has huge potential and the complexity is outstanding but patience will be required.

Elegant, with color changing naturally from a pretty raspberry to salmon-pink.
Intense flavors, clean, well-defined and slightly sharp, the wine then opens up to provide freshly picked red berries: strawberries, Morello cherries, black currants and raspberries. The wine is supple and rounded on the finish.
It is fabulous as an aperitif and matches superbly with all sorts of hors d’oeuvres and appetizers as well as lighter entrees and seafood.
