In January 2005, after years of travelling France and the rest of the world gaining vital wine-making experience two budding young vignerons, brothers Marc and Alexandre Bachelet, set up this Domaine that spans 10 hectares over the Maranges, Santenay and Puligny-Montrachet communes.

Bouchard, one of the correctly-acclaimed producers of Burgundian Grands Crus, has in 2007 a very fine Batard. They own a tiny parcel of this large, great vineyard, so the number of cases available for the entire world is quite limited. Grand Cru White Burgundy takes taime to evolve and this one will reward some patience.
