The 12-year-old is a vastly underrated single malt, due in large part to its inexpensive price. The nose is spicy, reminiscent of fruitcake with sherry-toffee notes. The palate is rich and complex, dry with the same spicy, fruitcake flavors emerging.
Available for shipment or delivery in NY state only.

The 16-year-old is richer and more complex than the 12, offering a spicy, gingery nose with undertones of smoke and sherry. The palate is sweet at first, then becomes dry. There’s a slight hint of earthy, peatiness. Quite rich.

Ardbeg Ten Years Old is a very special bottling for the Ardbeg distillery as it is the first non-chill filtered whisky in the Ardbeg range. Chill filtering isn`t a bad thing, in fact it created real consistency of product when the whisky industry was a little more `hap-hazard` than it is today. Ardbeg Ten Years Old is whisky with none of the goodness taken out and as good as straight from the cask.

“A sinewy malt with the classic bold notes of kiln smoke, peat, tarry rope, and coal ash. Sweeter notes of honeyed malt, ripe vanilla, chocolate fudge and toasted marshmallow temper and soothe the palate, along with background berry confit. The smoke lingers long on the palate. Ardbeg devotees will not be disappointed.” Malt Advocate Magazine

Winner of World Whisky of The Year title in Jim Murray`s 2009 Whisky Bible, Ardbeg Uigeadail takes its name from the brooding, mysterious loch which provides the peat-laden water for Ardbeg. Tasting note from whiskeyforeveryone.com: The intense pungent peat smoke is the obvious characteristic but this combines well with the other interesting elements which start to come through – something meaty, dried fruit (especially raisins, sultanas and candied peel), sweet cereal grains, something waxy and then caramel and something nutty (the combination of these last two is reminiscent of popcorn). Each of these characteristics are present on the complex palate…. [Pronounced: Oo-ga-daal]

The Balvenie DoubleWood Single Malt is a 12 year old single malt which gains its distinctive character from being matured in two woods. It is a smooth and mellow single malt of beautifully combined flavours – nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness and a delicately proportioned layer of sherry – with a long and warming finish.

Bruichladdich’s Master Distiller, Jim McEwan, created this exciting, new limited edition bottling of aged 1990 Scotch Whisky. After maturing in bourbon barrels the whiskey then finishes aging in Chateau Latour casks. This adds complexity and nuances that round out this balanced dram with great concentration of flavors. It is truly a unique and outstanding Single Malt that promises to please the most discriminating whisky-lover.

A delicate nose, misty; starts simple, becomes more (straight) complex. The first impression is of drifting smoke, which passes, to be replaced by clean, fruit-associated scents of nectarines, rum-toft and oil of orange.
