The Maligny Chablis is always good value but more that that, it is a perfect entry into the grand world of “real Chablis from France” Chablis. The Chardonnay reflects the chalk and minerality of the soils unique to this part of Northwestern Burgundy.

Not surprisingly, here there is a clear step in elegance;… with a mix of green fruit, floral, seaweed and iodine notes that give way to more refined medium-bodied flavors that possess outstanding intensity on the explosive though slightly warm finish. A lovely effort in almost every respect.
