The grapes were selectively picked in late September and early October. The grapes came from separate vineyards that were picked and fermented separately.
Once the aging was complete, each parcel was individually tasted and the final blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon 25% Merlot and 19% Cabernet Franc was made.
Alma is a dark full-bodied wine showing generous aromas of cherries, plums and sweet dark fruits with a buttery palate offering essences of vanilla, cloves and green tea.

A very special bottling of cabernet from Sonoma County’s pristine Alexander Valley, where cabernet is a bit leaner, with tighter structure than those from neighboring Napa Valley, but still rich, full-bodied with some hints of black cherry, anise, herb, and chocolate.

The Recanati Winery is located in the Hefer Valley in Israel, much of the fruit is from the Upper Galilee and the mountains around Jerusalem. The grapes are hand harvested and the climate is similar to that of the Loire valley in France. The Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of cherry, black raspberries, Mediterranean herbs and smoke.
