This Cuvee has been produced for over 30 years. The wine has elegant and refined aromas of exotic fruits, lychee, grapefruit and white pepper. The palate is nicely concentrated with richness and a fine balance that offers a lingering finish.

This Pinot Gris is a rich, powerful wine with aromas of grapefruit, peach and some lovely mineral notes. The palate and finish show elegance and balance for such a rich white wine.

Vintage after vintage, the Albrecht riesling remains one of the best values; not only in Alsace wines, but in solid, everday white wines period.
The 2008 is showing a more laid-back profile than usual and exhibits some typical green and red apple scents followed by some spice and tropical fruits on the palate. Lovely.

Widely considered one of the most reliable domaines in Alsace, wines from Bott-Geyl are “nearly” organic, made from hand-harvested fruit and natural yeast. The wine is aged briefly on its lees. The Pinot d’Alsace is medium-bodied with all the rich fruit and floral aromas you’d expect from Bott-Geyl. With excellent acidity, this is a great value.

Trimbach produces classically styled wines from Alsace. The Gewurztraminer is produced in a dry, peppery style (with that wonderful grapefruit skin nose) and a crisp, clean elegance. The palate is rich and the finish is balanced with citrus and spice.

It really makes an artful match with lightly spiced Asian dishes (especially Thai).

The 2007 Gewurztraminer is quite lithe and bright for its variety, with marjoram, white pepper, and rose petal aromas, pungent herbal, tart fruit skin, and smoked meat flavors, and a dry, minty, smoky, slightly oily, saline, and invigoratingly bitter finish.

The wine has a fresh, lively bouquet, with all the characteristic vivacity of a fruit-driven Riesling. It is very floral, frank and expressive, and agreeably elegant on the palate, this is an ideal example of a pure, dry Riesling; clean, focused and true to the fresh and lively temperament of this grape. It finishes dry, fruity, fragrant yet refreshing.

The Lerchenberg site is located just west of the Moenchberg Grand Cru on a silty and clayey soil that produces excellent terroir for dry Pinot Gris.

Albert Mann is a phenomenal producer of dry Alsace wines. The winery is located in the Haut Rhin (southern part of Alsace) and all the wines show excellent balance and length. The Pinot Blanc is full of ripe pear and melon aromas with crisp green apple notes. The palate is full and rich with a creamy, spicy finish.
