Quite pale/slight yeallow color. Quite flattering to the palate with just a slight edge of nice tannin.

Silky and fresh, with medium-weight cherry fruit spiked with herb and olive hints. The slightly firm finish lacks a little flesh, in line with the vintage profile.

The favorite wine of Rabelais, the famous French writer born close to Chinon. Chinon can keep easily for 30 years if it is a good vintage, and if properly stored. It is excellent with the local cheese : Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine. We like the peppery and violet aromas of Chinon and it complements poultry and white meat so well!:75% Cabernet Franc; 25% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Produced from grapes grown on the picturesque small river, the Layon, this rich and complex wine offers soft, sweet flavors of honey, white flower and verbena.

This is an historic property and a true hidden gem! The estate produces a sweet Chenin Blanc made without botrytis, that is aged a minimum of 10 years before release. The wines have an amazing track record for longevity, and can last 50-100 years in the great vintages.
