Bourgueil is located just across the river from Chinon and is known for producing Cabernet Franc with pleasing spicy, peppery, herbal flavors. These are preceeded by lovely aromas of raspberry, dark cherry and violet. Medium bodied, easy quaffing. With roast chicken—-divine.

Chenin blanc at its Loire Valley best! After receiving fame before WWII, the wines of the Coteaux du Layon were almost forgotten. They are now making a happy comeback.
A favorite semi-sweet Loire wine: full of sensuality, richness, length and complexity. Those who have never tasted Coteaux du Layon are missing a “kiss” from the vineyard which exhibits honey, acacia and verbena on the nose. Chill, sip, smile.
